About Columbus City Schools

Columbus City Schools, which serves students living in Columbus city limits, is Ohio's largest school district. More than 50,000 students attend its 109 public schools. The district decides which students attend which school based on a "school feeder pattern," which ensures students living in the same neighborhood will attend the same elementary, middle, and high school.

A variety of academic programs (including the Gifted and Talented Program and a Columbus Hearing Impaired Program), athletic programs, and extracurricular activities are available for students to enjoy.
